This is the most relaxing place we've been yet. The view, the quiet, the open space makes it so peaceful here. We loved walking on the trails through woods and sitting on the deck in the sun. The food and company were excellent! Thank you.

How to find the Ranch :
Ride the Wind Ranch is centrally located and easily accessible by (rental) car.
In summer, the horseback riders are back at the ranch around 1 p.m., that way there is lots of opportunity to drive to lakes and rivers for swimming or fishing; drive to a ghost town or into town for shopping and lots more.
 
Just a good 2 hour drive from Calgary or Edmonton airport and
only a 2 hour drive to Banff and Jasper National Parks
or a 3 hour drive to the towns of Banff and Jasper.

Directions from Calgary to Rocky Mountain House (a good 2 hour drive): HWY# 2 North to RED DEER, West on HWY# 11

Directions from Edmonton to Rocky Mountain House (a good 2 hour drive): HWY# 2 South to RED DEER, West on HWY# 11

Directions from Banff to Rocky Mountain House (a 3 hour drive):
HWY# 93 North to North Saskatchewan Crossing, East on HWY# 11

Directions from Jasper to Rocky Mountain House (a 3 hour drive):
HWY# 93 South to North Saskatchewan Crossing, East on HWY# 11

Directions from the town of Rocky Mountain House to the Ranch (a 20 minute drive):
»From Rocky Mtn. House 9km on HWY#11 West
»Turn North onto HWY# 756 for 4.5km
»Turn West at the Crimson Lake Provincial Park sign
»Drive West for 5.5km
»Turn South at the "Ride the Wind Ranch" road sign
»The ranch is 1.5km down this country road on your right hand side
